Gmail does not display user IP addresses-which is why most azzes use it. But you do have a few options.

1) forward the mails to abuse@gmail.com
2) mark the sender as spam or create other filters to make the emails auto-delete, go to trash etc (depending on the email provider you're using). If you need help with this let us know.
3) if you're really itching to find out who it is then sign up for:
 http://www.readnotify.com/readnotify/
I've used them many times in the past. I believe they offer a free 30 day trial. Now mind you all you're going to get is IP addy, they're not going to tell you who the act belongs to.
4) if you don't mind spending some money, a friend of mine used this site in the past to get the name associated with an email address:
http://www.abika.com/
Bear in mind though that if the person signed up for the account with false credentials then that would be the info you'd be paying for.

Thanks! Yeah the person used a false name I'm sure. Some people are so bored with themselves that they can't find nothing else better to do than harass others. Grin

In addition you can try this LINK and scroll down to "use my IP address detection script" and C&P the header and it will show the IP

That will only work for emails received in gmail from a different email provider. Emails that come directly from gmail do not show a correct IP in the header.
