I am assuming that you are referring to this type:

"In computer networking, the term IP (Internet Protocol) address spoofing refers to the creation of IP packets with a forged (spoofed) source IP address with the purpose of concealing the identity of the sender or impersonating another computing system"
-source en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spoofing_attack#Man-in-the-middle_attack_and_internet_protocol_spoofing

I'm not aware of your knowledge on this subject...But it isn't something that you can just read an article about and get the full grasp.  As you search the web, it will produce articles that tend to sound repetitive when querying about IP spoofing. You need hands on experience---by using computers that you own or are allowed root access of.

Know what you are doing before you make an actual attempt, and also know the risks involved.

articles:
mysecurecyberspace.com/encyclopedia/index/ip-spoofing.html
examples.oreilly.com/networksa/tools/blind-spoof.html
Note: while you are reading the article--dont attempt to use its steps until you have actually read the whole article and are aware of what you are actually getting yourself into. Also, the author has a very clear disclaimer.

here are some other types of spoofing:

1 Man-in-the-middle attack
2 URL spoofing and phishing
3 Referer spoofing
4 Spoofing of file-sharing Networks
5 Caller ID spoofing
6 E-mail address spoofing
7 Login spoofing
