I thought i would share this

If you have MS on your computer and you think or have a virus you can always call MS and they will help you with any security/virus issue you may have.

I had a problem and they remote assisted me and fixed it (they took over my computer- i was watching everything)

and did everything that was needed to remove the problems i was having.
I know for the mods on here you don't need that kind of help but for others that are challanged there is help lol

Micorsoft- 1-866-pcsafety

before you get a live person you will here a recording that will tell you to go to their website and run a scan before you get a live agent and if you didn't they will not help you

NOT TRUE

they dont even ask and one time i told them i didnt do the scan and helped me anyway so pay no mind to the recording.

@freezey -

Out of curiousity.. did MS charge you at all for their tech support?  I know there were fees when I called in as a business.  :-(  Maybe they've found a kind bone and offered some assistance for free?Huh??  *pinch me I must be dreaming*

^^

it is 100% free  Smiley
as long as it only relates to MS security/virus issues

they also take some info from you such as your name zipcode and number, if your a private person and dont want to give it out just give fake info. They won't know lol

the good thing with that is they also give you a session ID so if you ever have the same issue the next agent you speak to can look it up and see what was done to fix the problem before.
