no need...Facebook has a privacy setting that allows you to block ALL applications.
Click the applications bar on the left-hand navigation, and it will give you the opportunity to edit applications. Goto the applications page and it gives you opportunity to block the application; you have to click on the 'about' link next to the application to go to its main page, and there's a link on the right which says 'block this application' (there used to be an option to block all applications, but, for some reason, I guess Facebook did away with that because of advertising dollars).

yeah, I was looking for the block applications again this morning, but, I guess with all the changes, they forgot to re-add it.

you know that was very beneficial for facebook users. especially, to block malicious applications! such a shame my friend.
