I have a question.

A friend of a friend was visible to me in search, and I could see all their photo albums.  Suddenly they are no longer to be found on search, or on the friend's list of "friends".  Also, pictures the mutual friend were tagged in are no longer visible to me.  Interestingly, wall posts made to the mutual friend have vanished, and where they have commented on the mutual friend's staus there is now no picture or name associated with the comment (I just remember they made particular comments so I *know* it was them).

I did wonder if I had been blocked.  Seemed the most likely explaination.  However, when I checked with my second account (impossible for anyone to know about) then they are also not to be found any longer in searches or interestingly when you check the friend list of someone you *know* they are friends with.  Now, the search thing could be due to them tightening up their privacy settings but normally if you know someone they are friends with they still come up on the list when you click to see their friends.  Again, even using the second account any visible wall posts I know they made now have no picture or name with them.

So: have I been blocked, and they have also upped their security settings at the same time; OR have they temporarily deactivated their account?  Does anyone know how to check this?

OK, I don't think I've been blocked.  When I put in a direct link for one of their photo albums, I get a weird page that shows me "'s album" without any pictures or the name.  The same for their profile: the main link still shows me their profile, what I could see before including the albums and thier profile picture, but clicking on anything takes me to say, e.g. "  's friends: 'they have no friends (total rubbish, I can still see they have 500 odd friends from their main profile page).  Name missing still on the link, but showing on the main profile page.  Is this a weird facebook glitch?  They normally sort themselves out after a day or so, this has been two or three days now.  Weird!
