I did something stupid! HELP ASAP!

OK guys, I was just searching for a possible account on facebook, through the email finder. Anyway, I typed in the wrong email address, realizing it was aol not yahoo, I corrected it and pressed enter before looking. Turns out, I somehow accidentally INVITED that person through email on facebook. JESUS. How do I fix this? I can't take back the invite, can I? Anyone have ANY help they can offer?

I really hope I'm answering this right (as I may understand this a bit off due to, well, extraneous circumstance last night; we'll just call it the booze NOT with apple juice):  You cannot take back an invite, unfortunately.  However, it does go through a couple screens to make sure you want to invite the person, so odds of sending an invite, even accidentally (unless, um, slightly inebriated), is slim to none.  On the screen where it says something like it can't find the profile, do you want to send them an invite, did you enter an e-mail address into there?  If they already have facebook, from what I recall, it won't send another 'invite', as it's an already registered e-mail.  What I usually do, if I want to find someone via e-mail, I add them to my actual e-mail address book and search that way, just to avoid the accidental 'invite'.
