"Block" tab in myspace???

I have adblock on my puter. I have noticed a few times that when I am viewing something on my page, there is a tab (hidden faintly in the background) that says "BLOCK". When I click it, it says "click here to block this with adblock plus"
What the heck is that for? and why does it show in the middle of the freakin' page?

It's there because there is an object on the page. The tab is there to alert you in case you wish to block the item.

It's ok. It is just an image on a webpage that is not on your block list.

99% of them are nothing to worry about. The only time to worry is when you hover over it and look in the status bar (at bottom of browser) and look at the url (called target url in browser terms) and see that its a new tracker, etc. If you see something you are worried about, let us know by posting it--minus any identifying information of course.

Don't understand that Pat. the webpage is myspace right? The tab is showing on top of someone pic under friends updates. I trust when you say dont worry about it but well, Im just nosey I guess.

Ok, that is just either the music player on their myspace page or a myspace slideshow


Note: adblock will produce those "block tabs" on any website when you are using adblock. Its sorta a shortcut to block something quicker without having to go through the other steps of opening ablock, etc.
