Can A Myspace Page Be Traced?

I read the thread about creating a fake myspace page, how to make it look legitimate, etc. 
Can a myspace page be tracked back to the person who created it and is using it?  For example, IF I created a fake myspace page, and was messaging through myspace to someone who thought they were talking to someone else, could they ever figure out the location of the computer used or the IP address of the computer?

There is a thread here somewhere about tracking ip addresses. So in answer to your question, YES. If someone has a tracker on their page it could easily trace back to your location. Maybe not the exact location of your computer but very close. you may want to consider installing adblock. there is a thread that dicusses this as well. Just do a search and you should find the information you are looking for.

Thank you for your prompt reply!  The person in question, more than likely, does not have a tracker on their page.  They are very computer illiterate.  But, trackers aside, is there any way someone who is more computer savvy could pull up a PRIVATE profile and trace it back to the city or IP address? 

I'm not very computer savvy, either, but the person I'm afraid of figuring things out is even MORE computer illiterate than me!

If you mean by just looking at the private profile page-then no, they can't.
