I was on myspace and got logged off and couldnt use my password after, so requested the pass send to my email and found out my password has changed, definitely wasnt changed by me.
Ive been trying to log in with the new password and couldnt since, this new pass only works on myspace mobile.
How come i cant log into myspace with the corrected pass but only the mobile site?
I was messaging someone who was using myspace mobile before all these happened, does it related to my problem?

Are you sure you're typing it in correctly? Doesn't make sense as to why it'd work on mobile but not regular myself...

first i dont know why the password was changed...
then why i can only use the pass on mobile one not the regular site...

Thats really wierd.

Did u update your profile to 2.0, out of curiosity? Did you put any new codes or anything in your profile that might not be legit? (ex: some trackers are scams).

U may have to contact myspace support if this doesnt get resolved soon.

Does a verification code appear,which might appear after too many log on attempts with incorrect password.In other words your profile may have been phished.

Check your profile to see if it was deleted,you can search with your display name or e-mail addy.

Try deleting cookies and temp files then reboot.

Also be sure to save your mobile token as insurance to be able to get into your profile in case someone has gotten access to your account and is messing with you. As a precaution I would change your email password now as well, just to make sure no one can change the email address associated with your MS account.

You can't change your pass through mobile.

I remember reading this thread awhile ago now I'm experiencing something similar.. I cant log on to my account on Myspace when I try to log on the page just reloads but nothing happens. the same thing happened two weeks ago but I thought maybe Myspace was making changes to my account or something like that. the next day it worked fine.

Im able to log on to my other accounts and I know for a fact the pass is correct I even requested my pass and its still the same Last night I wasnt able to log on to mobile but I tried again today and voila it worked Im able to log on through mobile but not regular myspace this is so odd.

I was thinking maybe someone got my page deleted but its still there I searched for it I even sent myself a message. I dont know I'll wait until Friday then I'll contact tech support..By the way I dont get a verification code either

I have noticed this on forums I am a member of when trying to log in. It thanks you for logging in and then on the page it directs you to there is no 'Welcome back' message, just 2 white boxes to enter username and password again. It is a vicious circle on some forums.
I honestly think it is just bad coding and the nature or PHP/js. PHP and Javascript are both like women, you can do nothing wrong and everything your supposed to, fill the right things in and press the right buttons and they still frustrate you.

Gia do you get the myspace nav bar at the top of the page and the rest blank? I've been getting that for a while now after login. But if I use the nav bar I can get to home, mail, etc.

So, am I correct in thinking that MS will send you your password if you request it? I thought that it was like most websites and they send you a message to CHANGE your password. If it was that easy that they would just send the password, then alot of us would have the ability to access peoples accounts if we knew their email info. Doesnt make sense to me.

yep it is that easy. they will send the pass via email to the acct that is registered with ms. That is how many people get access to ms acts. If you know the email pass you just request the password from ms and delete the ms message in the email act.

Nope when I log in it just reloads I dont get the blank white screen but I know what your talking about because that happened before I was still able to see my mail etc..Well I have access to the account again lol so I think Myspace is just trippin grr they need to fix that
