I was searching for a way to make my home page look like it was deleted.I searched this forum to no avail.

I did however find this link, views-under-construction.blogspot.com/2007/03/april-fools-ideas_26.html but theres no way for me to confirm if it works.I checked my home page and I see no error.Maybe it will only work when other members check.

If I can pm or e mail my home page link for someone to confirm if it works.

If I can be of any assistance please feel free.

Tom

tip: Use a div overlay and change your pic to the pic with red x. But to a person who is knowledgeable they will know the difference no matter what. But it will fool most people.

"a good thing to know how to do if the need comes up"

That was my objective.There're two options,one for error and one for delete.

I needed to confirm if this worked and Jewels helped me a lot with this issue.

I stumbled upon this by accident.Heres how to confirm.Go to profile>my profile.

I'm glad theres a spell check here cause I suck at spelling.

I tried both public and private and it worked in both cases.

How is that working now Tomron? As when I viewed your profile when it was private-it was not working. Which was why I asked you to unprivate your page. Remember?

@ jewels & Moderator_

What it probably is then  is that when someone else views the profile it must be set to public.

When I test it it works for public and private.

@Moderator_

Why then when jewels saw the error I didn't have it set for viewers under 18.It was set for private then jewels brought it to my attention that it needed to be set for public.

It will only work for people who can view your page. If you're private they have to be friends for it to work. If you're 18+ they have to be logged in for it to work. If you're public it will work for everyone. Jewels asked you to make the page unprivate because IT WASN'T WORKING when it was private.
