customizing your myspace page the "public" can see, with a private profile

hi! don't mean to sound confusing, haha  :.....but my myspace profile is "private"......i see people tweeking/customizing their front page (dunno what you call it specifically), that the "public" sees on a private profile......ya know, the page that says "this profile  is private", but shows your pic., headline, gender, age, location, login, etc......

how can you customize that page? i've been on the search for a while to find details on that, but have found nothing......

There is a myspace code you can use that allows you to edit your age, location, last login, etc, but it only works on the inside page, not the outside private page (if you catch my drift) (at least that's how it was with the last code I used.) . Just google myspace codes and you can find out a lot.

If you are interested in the background image showing up on the outside private page, just go to myspace editor and choose a layout....the layout will be visible on both sides.

Not sure if this is what you meant or not though. Hope it helps.

If you use the myspace editor for your layout then your backgound images show on the private default page. So instead of the white page it shows whatever you have for your background and your module backgrounds.

aw yes, i did already use the code to tweek gender, age, location, etc., n i did notice that it doesn't work on the "public" page part, true true.....well, actually take that back, it DID work, but it just thows it all together, in one long rambling sentence, not all neat n spaced out (like it would look on your profile page).....thats what happened to me when i used the code i got from the posts here.....but the code did work great......

i have my profile background customized, but not using "myspace editor", so this is prob. the reason i was so confused bout this, haha......yes, thats what i really wanted to do, was customize the background of the "public" page section (so it wasn't the standard white)......i think i get it now, thanks you guys!!!
