I find this odd i have been using the view sourcr code on foxfire to see the last login but it hasn't updated it says the last loggin was 8/87 but they have logged in atfer that date. They have changed their mood/status so i know they have logged in thru a myspace rather than mobile.

does view source lag in updating sometimes?

Logging into mobile WILL update someones last login date.
Logging into myspace.com WILL update last login date.
Logging into myspace.com via myspaceIM  will NOT update last login. It changes often. Sometimes it will finally update their last login via IM once they hit the home button while on IM. Changes to profile can be made via IM without affecting last login.

This was discussed a few posts back as well and in a few other threads.

sorry i wasnt being clear- what i meant to say
is when i use the view source code so i can see if they logged on but dont make a hit on their page the date is the same it doesn't change well it hasn't for the past 5 days BUT when i do go to their page and right click and view sourcr it always shows the date they have logged in.

I know for a fact they dont use myspace IM or myspace mobile

so thats why i was asking how accurtae using this was : view-source:http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=xx

@ freezey

Most likely your browser is pulling up the cached page that you've already seen. When the page comes up, hold the ctrl button down while hitting refresh on your browser. This will force a fresh refresh and should solve the problem. Let us know if it works for you.
