Hello, ive looked around but cant see a thread on this-or maybe i havent looked hard enough-sorry if thats the case...

How would I know if one of my myspace sites has been hacked/phished?
Its a legitimate business site and when I logged in tonight the top friends had all changed, the list was set to custom not random?

thanks in advance

@lollipop

If you are phised, your account is used to spam other people..Usually with bulletins. See if there are bulletins posted that you didnt post.

Note: if only your top friends have been changed..that doesnt sound like the work of a phiser. More likely a myspace glitch. A phiser isnt gonna change peoples friends list.

Np. Also note (just in case you weren't aware) that you can be phised on other sites besides just myspace.. ..Such as hotmail and other accounts.

It is wise to not login when you didn't initiate the login process. It's better to take a few extra seconds to secure your account by taking a few small steps. (retyping in myspace.com or hotmail.com for example) When you are taken to a login screen at an "odd" time, look at the url in the address bar very closely because sometimes the "sitename" used to phise your account will closely resemble the "sitename" of the website you were navigating.
