This is beyond me but I think one of our resident geniuses may find it useful....

Thanks, I ran across that article last winter while googling for ways to get image ids. Jacob is a very intelligent person.

In order to get an image id from use of the article, you would basically need to do the reverse of what the article entails.  Honestly, I think that it would take Einstein to do it. lmao.

I have come close to creating a mathematical solution for getting the image ids from what is contained in the properties of a default pic on myspace. But, the method isnt consistant or precise enough to work yet or to work at all.

This method does work if you need to enlarge a Mobile1 photo that has a URL like http://cache.msm-images.myspacecdn.com/msm120jpg75/AAAXXBCDE (numbers without a .jpg extention) instead of the newer http://cache.msm-images.myspacecdn.com/msm120jpg75/images01/53/m_[long file name string].jpg URLs.

The older format URL doesn't work with the other URL replacement trick but does work if you change it to http://aAAA.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/00AAA/ED/CB/AAAXXBCDE _l.jpg.

Sure thing..I'll use the example picture from the linked article.

Basically if you see a URL that looks like this:

http://cache.msm-images.myspacecdn.com/msm120jpg75/521272604

To enlarge it, this needs to be changed to this:

http://a521.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/00521/40/62/521272604_l.jpg.
