Myspace 3.0

Has everyone switched/been switched over to the new format yet? Thoughts on it?

Apparently, Myspace is making the new 3.0 mandatory for all profiles, and is "upgrading" all 1.0 and 2.0 users who don't do so themselves. I think all, or nearly all, profiles have been affected by now.

My main profile was, until this week, still 1.0 with a layout from the CoolChaser site. Myspace "upgraded" it to 3.0 a few days ago. Surprisingly enough, my CoolChaser profile layout stayed intact and it looks like it always did (except for the menu bar and the new "My[____] Beta" logo in the top left corner). But the homepage and all functions are radically different.

I had upgraded my fakespace from 1.0 to 2.0 a long time ago, it has now been changed by Myspace to 3.0 also and the profile page is somewhat different from what it was, as well as the homepage. It had one of the regular Myspace layouts.

Personally, I don't like the new format at all. I've also read that a lot of customized profiles (both 1.0 and 2.0) that were switched to the new 3.0 caused the layouts to distort badly. I didn't use Myspace much except for snooping on other profiles (I like Facebook better), and I'm glad of that because I'd be really upset with the changes if I was really using it much.

Just wondering what others have encountered, and what you think of the changes?

I hate it, its confusing! they say all things take some getting use to..I know how to navigate it now and I still hate it. I respect what Tom or whomever is trying to do lol but I dont think thats going to make people come back to Myspace. I know his hair is turning gray.

I liked Myspace better because I could be creative with my html skills, you cant do that with FB..but I gotta go where the people are in thats FB, but myspace sucks now and my target never updates...Its impossible to add him on FB ugh

In conclusion I dont like the new Myspace.

I'm distressed because the profile view counter on Myspace is no longer visable. Is there any way to see it?

sarbrn, I'm seeing mine, directly under my profile pic on my home page. It's in very small, greyed-out looking text, but it's there. I had to really look for it, see if you find yours there and let us know.
