I have two questions. I always wondered if there was a possible way that if you send a message, is there a way of stopping it from being sent? For example, comments have the option to be deleted.. but messages don't. What if you sent it by accident and don't want it to be seen? The only way to stop this is logging onto that person's account and just deleting it itself obviously. But I was wondering if there was another possible way. It's most likely not, but just a thought...

Also, anyone ever noticed that if you upload a picture on MySpace, the quality/color downgrades? If you edited a picture, you would've noticed this error. For instance, I uploaded a picture, it was dark prior to the upload, but then it brightened afterward and ruined the effect I was going for. I tried to send a message to MySpace HTML Help and MS Help Team about it but they don't respond to messages or don't answer your question if it has to do with anything graphical or HTML. Suggestions?

no way that I know of to unsend a sent message.  I don't play around on myspace as much as I'd like, but, unless you have access to their account, that's one 'diddle that can't be undiddled.'

Actually, I don't think deleting your account will help with a message not getting read. I deleted my old account and a couple friends told me the messages I sent them still lingered in their inbox or trash or wherever even after my account was officially gone.

That really irritated me.

Jewels is correct..if you delete your account they cannot read the message..unless myspace takes the 48 hours to completely process the deletion of the account..the message is viewable during that time frame (sometimes myspace deletes the profile immediately and sometimes it takes up to 48 hours--rarely 48 hours). Also, as mentioned in another thread..the profile is still completely functional during that "window" until myspace completely processes the deletion. In my experience..myspace will process the deletion quicker if you actually click logout after you request deletion and confirm the deletion email sent to you rather then just closing the browser.

note: If you don't confirm that deletion confirmation email, then your profile will not delete until you do.
