****Random tips about friend subscription updates*****
*Some people are wondering why every new friend is added to their friend subscription list:
*reason: When you make a friend request..the box is checked by default (in the friend request form) to add them to your subscription list. Amongst all the clutter of the captcha box, entering a small message in the request, and also entering last name or email, creates a tendancy to make your eye overlook the check box.
*solution:uncheck the box.
**Some people are wondering why Tom is on your friend subscription list even though he is not on your friends list:
*reason: Because he is Tom. He can do whatever he wants..lol. His account can deliver info to any myspace profile via bulletins, updates, messages, etc.
*solution: Gonna have to deal with this issue.
**Some people are wondering why their friends are getting updates:
*Reason: Because all boxes are checked by default in your subscription privacy settings:
**Some people are wondering why their friends are getting updates even AFTER unchecking all the boxes in their subscription privacy settings:
*Reason: Because myspace is constantly adding new checkboxes for new updates.
*Solution: Occasionally take a look at your subscription privacy settings for new checkboxes, and uncheck them.
***sometimes there are glitches that whacks the whole update system up..a glitch..usually works itself out in a short period of time.
This should help alleviate some of those annoyances for you.

The first one has changed. The box isn't checked by default during friend requests.
