First off I want to thank Moderator_ & Jewel and everyone at she-geeks for the tips. Okay forgive my ignorance but on your code to see comments in private profiles - I'm at the part that references the url fusker/scanner page - I've looked for it and cannot find that paticular page - where do I find it and so I don't waste anyone's time - dumb it down for me - I was good with everything up until that part - thanks in advance.

I got it - if I had just looked a little longer I would have found it - sorry for the inconvenience.

not a problem did you get it to work? I noticed myspace was playing with the urls earlier and the friend id was not appearing in the link they provided when viewing your own comment. So please confirm if it was working for you as this will be great news!

And welcome to she-geeks.  Smiley

No I thought it was just me in fact I posted another question because I thought it was my fault but that must be why it's not working. The codes are very detailed and I followed them but it kept saying "you must be logged in to do that!" even though I was. BTW since you know more about this than me - have you ever went to:
who's on myspace.com

it's supposed to be a tracker that let's you see WHO is viewing your profile and when they viewed it -it looks pretty cool. I downloaded the program it's free - but I can't get my account to activate to get the code - which I'm wondering now if it was a con to get your email - do you know anything about it? Conviently the "contact us" don't work either. Just curious.

can you provide a link to the site? you should not have to "download" a program to get a tracker-so it's already sounding fishy to me. If you give us a link we'll check it out.

As to the comments- they are still working. I just verified by helping out another member via PM. If you need more help just post or you can pm me here. The url can be tricky to put together if you're not used to it. But PLEASE DO NOT post your mobile token on the forum.  Smiley

Here is the link:

whosonmyspace.com

Thank-you

Moderator note: whosonmyspace has been known to be BOGUS. Any supposed tracker that asks you to download something or asks for your name and password for myspace----is usually BOGUS. Please read Justy and Jewels posts they made in this thread. They are correct.

Well I just took a look at it. In order to get your code you have to register at ANOTHER website?Huh? Hell no! That's some shady sheet- and yes looks like something to avoid. If I were you, I would check ur cookies and delete anything from that site or any site related to it.

There are plenty of good safe trackers to use.  Check another thread on this forum, and Justy's content on trackers which lists some reliable alternatives.

yes. SHADY indeed. in fact, no site that allows you to track visitors, will ask you to download something. ever. they give you a tracking script to insert. I would run a spyware & virus scan on your computer asap. if it works for you & you like it, you need to think that just maybe, this program is watching & seeing everything you enter in your computer. Jewels & i are very "cautious" about sites like that.
We've seen too many malicious things happen to people, plus we google everything we have questions about. If we see that others have had issues, then we stay away... or we run a file scan before download to see if its safe or not.  But 99% of the time, i just dont download from sites like that.

Currently, the only way to see who is on someones friends list is to view someones private profile comments.

There has been codes in the past for friends list and its almost inevitable that there will be more in the future. (the widget shows the friends list, but the widget is currently down)

There is a thread for mobile II about seeing private profile comments. Let us know if you need anymore assistance Smiley

Is there anyway to see a blog that is set to 'Friends Only"Huh?
I saw the new code that was up to see preferred blogs, so I just thought I'd ask!

Thanks!

Not currently. You can see all blogs except the ones set to 'friends only' and 'diary'
