In speaking with one of my kids, I found out that my eldest son has possibly been "scoring" drugs off of one of his myspace friends.  I'd like to figure out who and make sure that they're no longer in his life.

My only problem? I don't know his myspace password and he has used an email that I can't use a password recovery on (yahoo says I must call for the password to be reset, but since I don't know the zip code he used (it's not our zip code) I am unable to get into either aspect.  I have tried keyloggers on the computer, but the ones I've used don't collect numbers or characters, only letters.

How on earth do I find out what's being said on his myspace in order to prevent this from going on?  I've tried every trick listed on google and apparently there's just recently been some change and I can't locate anything anywhere to be able to see his page.  I just want what's best for my son and the only thing that myspace will allow me to do is to close his account, rather than see it.

Is there anything I can do?

Yes- get a better keylogger, that is your best weapon. I think heather said she is using perfect keylogger and it's great. And only around $30 I think. There are also hardware keyloggers available as well, but only use if your son is not savy enough to notice an extra piece of equipment.

2nd, you should be able to find his myspace url in your browser history. Make a fakespace of a hot girl his age and add him. You will at least be able to see the comments his friends are leaving and the stuff on his page. But to read his messages you will have to get the kelogger.

If you have multiple computers in your house you can do a man in the middle attack to get his passwords. There is a very easy beginner software available that you should be able to use effectively. It's called cain&able and is available on oxid.it

Need any creative work done? I recommend Bryan Langdeau. This man's work has been blowing me away since he was 10 years old...
