When you log onto your Myspace page, a box is there informing you of the new "My Visitors" feature, with this message:
My Visitors is here!
We've added a new feature called My Visitors that allows you to see who's viewing your profile and allows other users to see when you're viewing their profile. See who's checking out your profile by clicking 'Accept' and then finding the My Visitors module on the right side of your Home page.
This feature is completely optional, so if you prefer to browse anonymously, just click 'No thanks.'

You can turn it on & off at will.
It does work, if you and the page you are visiting both have the feature enabled. I checked it out with my real MS page and my fakespace, visiting one page from the other. It shows the last 9 visitors your page had, including the profile name & pic. These are clickable, they'll take you to the person's page. There are no dates or timestamps to the tracks, just the linked name & pic. It looks so far like multiple visits from the same person are not shown, the nine display spots are for nine different individual users.
HITS is tracked also, viewing a page through there shows a profile track for "Hits" -- a 26 year old male in the US. Turns out that FB (HITS' owner) forgot he even had that profile!
So, beware the new Myspace tracker of Myspace's! I keep mine turned off except for testing purposes.
Can this be added to the she-geeks tracker blocker??
There's no URL to it that I can discern, it's a Myspace module, so I haven't listed it in the thread for posting new trackers.
I'm hoping that it isn't faulty and apt to track even if the visiting user has theirs turned off. This new function is NOT a good development, in my opinion!
