Tips on finding trackers:

Tip#1
LOOK AT THE VIEW SOURCE
-Right Click on a blank area of the page and Choose "view source" in the box
-All the html, urls, etc will appear in a notepad document look for urls of trackers
-Find them and add them to your adblock filter list and post them by clicking...here


           *View Source of a Private Page: The tracker is only in the Headline Area.           
           *View Source of a Public Page:   The tracker url can be almost Anywhere.




Tip#2
VIEW LIST OF IMAGES contained on a page via adblock
-click on the adblock "stop sign" (at top right of firefox)
-skim through box that contains the tracker urls.
-Find them and add them to your adblock filter list and post them by clicking... here


In your free time, new Trackers can be found on google.  There are so many trackers out there that are still undiscovered.  I've seen lists of trackers made and I know that there are actually ALOT more trackers out there than what are on the lists.  So, lets get the job done and work on finding them Eh, but then again, new trackers come out all the time, so its a neverending job. But there are hundreds, if not more, undiscovered trackers out there

HOW TO ADD NEW TRACKERS TO ADBLOCK:
go to tools -> adblock plus-> ->hit "add filter"    then type in the URL ->hit add filter again -> then apply-> then ok.  close

Surfing around to find new trackers and posting the trackers is important for alot of people.

OK i just learned how to use the view source to check if there is a tracker. but i'm still not too familiar with adblock. When it shows the adblock pane at the bottom of their page what are all those addresses? And is that where i look for tracker addresses for that person?

yes that is where you need to look. If you want to change the location of that pane, read this - I find it much easier to use as a sidebar than a bottom bar. Either way you can increase the size to make it easier to view what's there.

All those addresses represent all the items that are loaded on the page. So you want to pay attention to items marked as scripts and images. Just hover over them and the url will pop up in a box. If you see a funky url that you don't recognize, then look it up on google. And remember if you find a new tracker that is not on our block list post it in this thread.
