just 2 quick question about myspace tracker:

i wanted to know if its possible to look at a myspace profile and not be tracked?
and how?
and if someone from Oklahoma looks at my profile will it tell me a different location e.g: Texas

if you have the firefox addon called adblock plus & use the she-geek tracker filter, then no, they cant track you. if they have a tracker, they may just be able to get your ip address, not your actual profile. & usually people with trackers that just grab ip's, have no clue who you are. go to our tracker section & read up on some of the posts there.

yes, it may tell you a different location based on the isp. for example, i am in florida, but when i go to someones page it will show virginia, bc that is where my internet service provider resides.

I hope I have this in the right place....still learning how to look things up on here I am not good with PC's at all.  I am wondering is there anyway you can put in someones IP # and find out if they have a page on FB or MS?  I tried the name of the person and I am sure she has everything blocked.  I am sure she started all new pages on both.  Can anyone give me ideas on how to find this person.  I know the IP address for sure.

I know no one uses mypsace anymore, but I've heard talk that myspace introduced its own tracker. I've yet to see it and was just curious if anyone else knew anything about it.

it's a long shot, but I've actually found out who some people are by typing in an IP into google.  Sounds odd, and it doesn't always work, but a lot of business websites aren't very secure and allow ip addresses (along with emails) to slip into a search engine.  Hope that helps.

Yeah.. i have found stuff out on random search engine queries too.. you just never know!
