It's back. (recently filtered)
**Trackspace is mighty handy...it matches up Dynamic IP Addys Wink

So you can login to trackspace.net and get your new tracker code to place on your myspace profile(s)
**If you are just now registering to trackspace, be sure to set your trackspace account to private. Otherwise, other trackspace members can see your myspace profile while you logged into trackspace.

She-geeks does have the She-geeks tracker blocker that will automatically update your filter list as the new tracker codes are found. Jewels will likely add this one to the she-geeks tracker blocker in the morning. UPDATE: It's been added Smiley

Here is the filter for adblock plus:
2tspace.com

**Trackspace.net appears to possibly still have the issues with it's registration process.

Thanks for the head-up Patrick. And yes, it's been added to the blocker.

just curious as how accurate it is i use statcounter and it has been very accurate to the point it gives locations from 1 block away from where the user is from.

Is it just as good or better?

Thanks

If statcounter is that good, then I would stick with it if I were you. I cannot say if trackspace is better or worse than statcounter, as I have not used the latter before. But I can say that out of all free trackers, it is the better one. I'm very happy it's back!!!

FYI: It doesn't hurt to have several trackers on your profile, so you might want to add trackspace as a backup.

Trackspace is up and running again. They have new code working. This was the email I got from them:

Hello, TrackSpace has new code!  In order for your tracker to continue working, you must visit <a href='http://www.trackspace.net/get_code.php'>TrackSpace[/url] and login to your account, and click the GET CODE link and follow the instructions. If you have already updated your profile with the latest tracking code, please delete and disregard this email. Thank you, TrackSpace.net Staff

Heads up to everyone who uses trackspace still: Recent announcement about upcoming changes:

"UPDATE: 03/21/2010
FACEBOOK TRACKING WILL BE COMING SHORTLY!!! -- There new tracking code available, your old code will still work, but we recommend you update to the new one -- It's been a long while since we've done any serious updates to the site. But I wanted to let everyone know that we're about to resume working on TrackSpace 2.0 in the coming weeks. We're basically rebuilding the entire site from the ground up to be more accurate, more efficient and to have more solid features in general. We'll keep you updated!
In the meantime, check out our sister site PingMe.cc for some nice IP tools that we'll be integrating into TS 2.0"

It's not up and running yet -- but the site says it's "coming shortly." They don't give any details on it yet, only that it's coming.

Hey all

So I went on trackspace and couldn't find any info on this.  Am I missing something?

Are you a registered user there, and if so, did you sign in? The text that CornellWeasel posted comes up in a box as soon as you sign in. The info isn't posted on the general site, it shows up on each registered user's "stats" page that shows their tracking history. Sign in, or join up and then sign in, and you'll see it.
