What is your OS?...if XP did you try system restore?

Yes, with further detail, we can assist you.  Hopefully you have some knowledge with computers.  I wouldn't recommend "wiping" it unless you know what you are getting into.

Unfortunately, since our friend "lvl126vslvl6" hasn't responded to any of these posts and hasn't logged in for a few days, I think they might be "sans PC" at this point.   Shocked

Honestly, without more information from "lvl126vslvl6" on:
1. the current state of the PC
2. the state they wish it to be in

We are all just throwing straws.
Hopefully we'll hear some good news from our friend "lvl126vslvl6".

I concur with swytch,without feedback from the OP no one knows the status.

It's been my Modus operandi in help forums without feedback from the OP I don't like to make too many posts cause this is an exercise in futility.
